ServeFLO

Be the Hands and Feet of Jesus

Join us in our effort to bring about change in the Florence community. There will be various events and service projects!

Join Helping Florence Flourish for ServeFlo ’23!  ServeFLO is HFF’s annual “Season of Service” in October where individuals, churches, businesses, nonprofits, etc. come together to complete various service projects in the area throughout the month.  To participate, you can be a volunteer and sign up for one of the projects – or submit an idea for a project that needs to be done (if would be great if you could lead it).  Projects to do or coordinate could include: manicure community gardens; clean neighborhoods; have a community cookout; or make encouragement cards for veterans, school faculty, cancer patients or youth in foster care.

There’ll be a ServeFLO Kickoff Community Communion on Sunday, October 1st at 4:00 p.m. on the soccer fields at the Florence YMCA – 1700 Rutherford Drive.  People from across the city will come to commune together for prayer and Holy Communion.  There’ll also be a time where worshippers will surround a big tent and sing praise to the Lord with “The Bridge” Community Choir leading the way!  Congregations are invited to come, and pastors or church reps are encouraged to sign up at https://bit.ly/461XMpl so organizers can reserve a place on the field for you.

Let’s come together and ServeFLO.
