Kingdom Race Theology Book Club

Dr. Tony Evans has inspired Helping Florence Flourish from our inception. We invited him to Florence in February 2017 to help us consider “Oneness Embraced” (another of his books). As we continue to emphasize our Oneness across the racial divide, we encourage you to read his book, “Kingdom Race Theology” (KRT), with us. He challenges both African Americans and Caucasians to let God’s Kingdom set the agenda for life together. We have his book available for the first 25 readers. Donations for books are welcome but not necessary. We will tell you how to get the book as soon as possible.
We will gather to begin our book club on Wednesday, May 8th at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 124 W. Darlington Street in Florence (in fellowship hall). Join us for lunch! Let us know if you will join us by clicking here: https://bit.ly/3U6B7Vx for the RSVP Google form.
We look forward to gathering with you, soon!

Global Leadership Summit (GLS)

Helping Florence Flourish (HFF) welcomes the Global Leadership Network’s Global Leadership Summit (GLS) to Florence annually as participants gather at First Presbyterian Church to watch the national GLS conference, virtually, together.  Leaders from businesses, nonprofits, churches and the community in general gather to consider how to be stronger leaders personally, professionally – and for Florence.  HFF’s goal is to connect area leaders and believers for future collaboration in blessing the community.  Participants hear from world class speakers encouraging them to lead wisely, boldly and to maximize their influence to create a better world!

The 2024 Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is coming to Florence again August 8-9. HFF will host this virtual event on the campus of First Presbyterian in Florence.  This leadership development opportunity will give area leaders an opportunity to grow personally as well as create connections for collaboration.

We are inviting local congregations agencies and businesses to participate as Summit Partners, which affords significant discounts for those organization’s members/employees. If your organization becomes a Summit Partner a discount code will be given to those organizations to be used when registering.  If you would like your organization to be a Summit Partner, email chandley@helpingflorenceflourish.org for details. Be aware that there are early bird discounts available for a certain time.

Over the two-day event you will enjoy messages of inspiration and motivation from speakers such as Craig Groeschel, Joni Eareckson Tada, Michael Jr. and more!
